RE: eric clapton: unplugged

My dad would play this, Colin James and Cream, every time he came home from working the oilfields. As long as I can remember this album has been a part of my life. I always loved Tears in Heaven, and the slow version of Layla.

RE: Ozzy Osbourne: Ozzy Osbourne(Live at Budokan)

I love this album, the phenominal combination between Ozzy on vocals and Zak Wylde on shredding guitar is incredible, you can just feel the energy in the audience during every one of his songs. Its because of people like Ozzy that I got into rock music.

RE: Nine inch nails: the downward spiral

Absolutely instrumental in encouraging me to Become Who I Really Am, and a faithful travelling companion as the real cost of that process became painfully shown unto me. The real alchemy is an inside job.

RE: Black Sabbath: We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n' Roll

Sabbath were instrumental in getting me onto the path of creative thought and action as a kid. Absolutely amazing sound for a three piece (plus Ozzy!) and a big influence on my own playing.

They were (and remain) my absolute heroes who gave me something to really hold onto during those times it seemed I might be crushed to death by a very ordinary world. Without Sabbath I wonder if I would have survived my teens at all.

This album is a great compilation for those looking to take a first listen and contains a near comprehensive summary of the bands classic period.

RE: Kenny G: Greatest Hits

If Kenny G is the most commented page, then we may as well get rid of the music section completely.
