Child's labour

Holding the fruit of hard day's labour
Mother slept embracing the terrible migraine.
The door bell rang
His cry is more than audible
Snatching the money from her, stabbed at her temple
To defend the body god given
The secret serpant drew her strength
Snatching the knife hidden behind
She plunged at the asura's breathing heart.

Law took her mighty force,Long term prison was the verdict
Unable to understand the dance of hunger
Wretched mind plunged on me
Snatching a shiva's photo
I ran to quench my thirst
Mind's will pulled me through
Gazing at the pakoda's
I stopped at this hotel
Dropping a tear of fear, Pleading an ounce of water
I walked to this stable man

Gazing at his balance sheet of profit
Calculating the P/E ratio's
A job was offered to my mind
Dejected at the fate of this soul
Praying to the all pervading Neelkanth
The undreamed offer was accepted,
Life licked my oozing blood

Time took it's course
This body attended to the need of nature
To some it was an 'almond blossom'
Surprised by the beauty of the flesh
Some mocked, Most watched with hiding eyes.
Mastering the art of cooking
Accumulating the wealth of need
I jumped from the kitchen of hell

I met this angel of an Instrument
Amused by the power of veena
An unborn love had awake
Seeking Guru's blessings, touching Shiva's feet
I embraced her superfluous body
Disowning the legacy of the darkened past
A new life had begun in Kali ghat
Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa dha ni sa....

The world reckoned the nude talent
As I played at fine arts Hall
With terrestrial eyes she witnessed,
Her face gleaming with joy, drowned in tears
The past of suffering exhaust
Dropping my love at the mandapa
Laying flat at her feet
I longed to hear the colloquy ....
'May the eternal bless you daughter'
