Count To Ten

My last night here
Some quality time
Spent with my old friends
Say yes to a beer
Swallow it down
Continue the trend
Follow it up
With a few shots of bourbon
Then count to ten

Cause hearts get broke
And lives will change
Most keeping praying
But few are saved
I can see it all now
In my last seconds
Spent with alcohol

Will ole Jack even know?
He's one of my old friends
Will he know I'm gone
Jim do ya care?
You're staring at an empty chair
Do ya care I'm all alone

Cause hearts get broke
And lives will change
Most keep praying
But few are saved
I can see it all now
In my last seconds
Spent with alcohol

Sometimes I wonder why
The heroes fade away
You can numb your mind
But the pain will always stay

Cause hearts get broke
And lives will change
Most keep praying
But few are saved
I can see it all now
In my last seconds
Spent with alcohol

Good write, great flow to it. Now there IS a false friend if ever there was one.
