Softness

We chat using technology that flies through the sky
For hours we communicate, but are we more wise?

There is a hint of softness in her voice
I have herd the words before, but she leaves me wanting more

I trust and don't know why
The feelings that are brought to the surface make me want to cry

The sound of perfection of wanting to be loved
Oh how her words flow, the softness of

The feelings that are emerging that once were lost
We speak of waiting, but at what cost?

We are simply chatting, you and me.
For I am wanting, lonely you see

We continue our journey and much to our surprise
We find ourselves talking with out our disguise

She says I brighten her day
I ponder and wander with little dismay

I must see her and touch her before it's too late
For my glory is to just gaze upon her, to take her on a date

It may not work but what do we do
I hope I can be brave and make the right move

Now it's getting late and I must stop here
For she is already in my heart, so precious and dear.

About this poem:
When we "chat", there is a certain softness in the words, in our hearts and minds. There is something there that deserves to be explored.
