Race

Eyes that blink and turn away.
Warmth that caress the soul.
Stars that twinkle captured by the water.
Smell of storm traveling thru the distance.
Waves that ripple on along.
Rocking me back and forth to the seas song.
Shore to far for one to see.
Heart racing heading fast to the land.
Who or what will reach there first is yet to be.
Before Mother Nature lets her wrath run free.

Hi, Proudamerican100,
It's a blessing to make it to shore with a renewed respect for the power of the sea to transform all in it's path. Well done!
