Song of the Heart
Author: Unknown
I see desire in your eyes,
as your lips seek mine.
First a gentle brushing,
like an artist's stroke on canvas.
As our lips gently touch,
nerve endings come alive,
seeking satisfaction of their own.
I feel your fingers sliding towards
my face, my ears, my throat,
tracing each,
lest this moment be forgotten.
A kiss here, a kiss there,
lips alive and probing,
moving towards the body's
song of love.
I hear your voice, my love,
and raise my voice in harmony
only we can hear.
My body responds to the beauty
of your rhythm,
singing joyous music of its own.
At last our bodies unite
in a final glorious refrain,
a song of the heart well sung.
