Not Easy

It is not easy to be without you
but I know this is what I have to do

yet sometimes I'm lonely and think
is it worth it?

finding myself is hard, very hard
I was lost for too long

now I am walking the path alone
someday perhaps the path leads back

I miss your guidance
your humor and quirks

Just so you know
I am a beautiful lady

mind and soul
worth waiting for

Very nice write Luvu, I agree that when a person spends time for themself it can only make for a better person. I did that as well to get past the past and get to know myself again. Cheers an ty for sharing.

Hi Bentlee, yes, time to myself is necessary right now. Perhaps in the future I'll be able to share my life again. I have hope.
