His Heart is Good, His Words are True

His heart is good, his words are true
He never hurts or stumbles
And he has given me the world
In spite of all my failings

He taught me all I knew
About this strange life in a foreign land
And as I failed as I so often do,
He always lent a helping hand
I only hope my sins will be forgiven
My frailty, humanity forgotten

Although I find this poem somewhat religious, I felt it had a nice flow at the end. I believe we are all forgiven at the end of life, but I disagree about humanity forgotten. Humanity in my view cannot be forgotten although it is inferior to divinity. It is a poem that makes one wonder about life, confused so all in all I enjoyed it.
thumbs up
