It's a woman who has an appreciation Of the world around her And of her unique place in it... If she has energy to devote both to work And to play....
If she has the capacity to give of herself And to accept graciously The gifts of others.... If she has people She trusts and is trusted by, People she cares about Who care about her.. If she has a zest for life And a feeling of kinship with all living things.. If she has the enthusiasm To welcome each new day With warmth And joy And love... Then she is truly a successful woman.

About this poem:
The traits of a successful woman and how we can all relate to it. :)
There is a lot of truth in these words ROS, everyone has their own idea of what success means to them, I never really thought about what it meant to me, guess I should. I would like to think that the woman you describe would be not too far off the ideal of success and if it's your definition of it for you I have no doubt you are a 'successful' woman..

Well this is entirely true and a good write indeed; only problem is, how does one become her? If we were able to do this then we may not need to be here. I can only long, longingly and await... CJ

What Is A Successful Man?
Author: Unknown
It's a man who has an appreciation
Of the world around him
And of his unique place in it...
If he has energy to devote both to work
And to play....
If he has the capacity to give of himself
And to accept graciously
The gifts of others....
If he has people
He trusts and is trusted by,
People he cares about
Who care about him..
If he has a zest for life
And a feeling of kinship with all living things..
If he has the enthusiasm
To welcome each new day
With warmth
And joy
And love...
Then he is truly a successful man.
