oh, lay my bones on plains unknown bleach them out to shades of cream let them dry as life goes by my spirit may wander a soulful dreams wonderful poem
Wow. I think the ruminations of souls that accept the inevitability of mortality is probably universal; thoughts that simply cannot be held at bay. And fine ruminations they are in this poem, GG2H. Another very fine piece of work with a very rich sense of humanity throughout.

A subject which we all think about as we get older. Well done GG.
"time approaches and ending encroaches ..." - leaves me wondering whether this is a start of the end of the life we lead. And the picture of death is astonishing - what with "no form of light" and "all souls walking into twilight". The more you read, the more you imagine the picture. I often catch myself thinking about it.
'my spirit may wander a soulful dream' i just love the flow of this entire piece GG, i'm thinking you are in a good place with yourself for soulful poetry.
