ENTRAPMENT

Darkness falls and envelops him
Such darkness he knows, comforts the black soul
Openly shows it, relishing in its dark glow
Seeks to darken those with light, cast long shadows where he might
Caresses the souls of those he knows, entrapment the goal
Oh how the shadows tease, seeking to weave you in
Caught you they did, numbed your soul
Get out you hear, too late is already here
Want to go, but how to get there
Help me out, show me the way
Lost I am, reach me please
Pull me out so I can leave
Shut the door, shadows no more

Hi, spnglish,
Such darkness he knows, comforts the black soul. Fortunately, the light needed to resist darkness can be found within, aided by the help of family and friends. Enjoyed the shadows of this poem.
