Vision of another version

You see me as loud
That’s because you don’t want to listen
You see me as ugly
That’s because your eyes are closed
You see me as short
That’s because I put you on a pedestal
You look at me
But you do not see me

Sorry, I needed to say it. I know many have been here and some may have said it better, yet I needed to say it just the same.

Why not take her down that pedestal, so that she could look straight into your eyes and see what she can not see from above. Love, eloquent as it is in the poem, can not be denied.
