Old love - new love
Will you come to me tonight?
I will tell where was my mind,
It was there, where setting sun
Plunged slowly out of sight.
Will you come to me tonight?
I will make some salad nice,
Lay the table for us two,
Light the candles, bring some wine.
If you only come tonight,
Lamps will light your path to house.
If uncertain – make up mind,
If love’s dying – let it die.
Will you come to me tonight?
I will tell you where’s my mind,
It is there, where setting sun,
Plunges slowly out of sight.
Will you come to me tonight?
If you don’t – I will not mind.
Stirring up our deepest past
Will not do – what’s done is done.
If you come to me tonight ...
Never mind, you may not come.
Lamps will light your other paths,
Love is dead, long live new love!
