I was tripping along, not a touch of a care round the edges of one morning you were there framed in a cloud was the sweetest face nuzzled at my heart in its softest place if I wake in the coldlight with sense forlorn could your blanket of love keep me warm if in the dusk I am stilled by fear will I be soothed from the sense you are near now a reluctant heart cannot be won if you loved me back it would be such fun!
there you were gettin' all touchy feely and everything til you insisted on fun. oh well. this is lovely prose. a talent you seem to be awash in. where's your photo of you in a bonnet? the face of spring eternal.....

I loved all of the following words:
if I wake in the coldlight with sense forlorn
could your blanket of love keep me warm
if in the dusk I am stilled by fear
will I be soothed from the sense you are near
could your blanket of love keep me warm
Love this, my kind of poem.
There is so much love and promise in Love in my Bonnet where round the edges of one morning you were there...such fun!
