With paper an pen
Imaginings or reality
How an when
Slowly they create
Their story into verse
Capturing moments of
Life love or curse
Their tales meander
Through experiences been had
Or dreamings of life
The good an the bad
Portraying heroes
Or maybe not
A simple flower blooming
Or a sun to hot
Some they rhyme
Easy to understand
Others are hard
Require great command
Appreciation is
The skill of the day
To open your mind
To the 'Poets Way'
