A world of woes!

I have become wiery, i watch and sigh. The earth very scary, wanna head for the sky. One event then another, now seems the norm. Just can't be bothered, about tomorrow's pending storm. Everywhere there is trouble, it's a long list. From the housing bubble, to the financial crisis. The tornados and storms; delimas of the west. Uprisings in various forms, africa in a mess. Even asia wasn't spared; earth-quake stricken japan! People are running scared, as tsunamis hit land. China is experiencing droughts, europe feels the cold. There is no doubt, who is in control!? Will this cycle end? No-one really knows. "Now", we must contend, a world of woes! On the humorous side, i have my delima. I can't hitch a-ride, nasa retired "the challenger"!

Hi, byfaith,
Through our appropriations, humans create imbalance in the world. Mother Nature attempts to rebalance. Her re-appropriations, while neutral, are overwhelming. My heart, too, is weary with such great sadness. May our compassion lead to a healing of this world of woes!

Your poem is just what I am worrying about all the time: where is our train moving, what is our final destination? Maybe we should stop worrying and start thinking how to be kinder, more compassionate to people, how to make this world a better place for our fellow men. Maybe the only thing left is bracing ourselves against so many misfortunes with hearts full of love remembering the legacy Christ has handed down to us.
