Saturday Night

Saturday night an no one home

Sitting here all alone

Drinkin rum an punchin keys

Scratchin the dog

An scarin the fleas

Love to have a lady nearby

Who's breath i'd take with a sigh

An laughter may fill the air

Instead of the computers glare

I must get up an out i go

But dismal rain wont let me so

So here i choose to be tonight

In search of c/s's mailbox light

For the solution to my afflicting pain

Is to connect with someone down poetry lane

Hi, Nuwahri61,
Although one shouldn't allow a dismal rain to stop one, your poem paints a clear picture of longing for connection. An scarin the fleas, however, is another matter entirely. A delightful Drinkin rum an punchin keys write!
