I shoulder my skin I hold it tight I just let it breathe When I feel it's right.
Boundaries of love gone by to the past Like a flickering candle Dripping wax turns to cold.
You feel it's been brought to your broadened extreme A tip of the iceberg is where you were at.
Boundaries of love Gone by to the past.
Perhaps it was trees Your heart could not climb As your mind kept you safe Where you just should not be.
Sometimes in life love comes to you free Hard parts knowing what you truly feel inside Your mind trips you up in a false loving touch How big do you want it, what you keep is it real.
Boundaries of love Gone by to the past.
Then you find there's a place You've never been at Where it flows from the heart Not a bit holding back.
The last two lines: "Boundaries of love that were once in the past" gives us hope, love hasn't gone anywhere, but stayed where it belonged:
"Boundaries of love, Gone by to the past," Make us twist, turn our mind Asking, is love in past? Or indeed it resides hidden Deep in our heart? "Boundaries of love," Is there concept as such? Is there limit to love? This is what I would ask.
Enjoyed the poem very much, thank you.

Fine write my friend...I'll tell you something....sometimes I regard different emotions as countries that have borders, that we are continually travelling through, as we go through life..They don't change very much, but our rate and amount of travel does..So I enjoyed this read very much....Thankyou bentlee....Andrew...

very nice poem sir bentlee,,stunning write as always..
I truly believe what we are able to give is limited by the Love we carry for a special person. Which in turn creates boundaries that our heart will not allow us to cross. After all true love carries nothing but It. Unless one of the partners are saddled with alot of baggage lurking. We all create boundaries in every aspect of our live's. Ty for your thoughts,

i am blown away out in the sea of this poem and trying to find port
if there are boundaries is it love? my love knows no boundary it stretches to the horizon and beyond deepening into the blood red sun darkening into the horizonless night
with no boundary the world is indeed round i am sailing lost, round and around

Whew, the last time I was there...it was long, long ago.
"Boundaries of love,
Gone by to the past,"
Make us twist, turn our mind
Asking, is love in past?
Or indeed it resides hidden
Deep in our heart?
"Boundaries of love,"
Is there concept as such?
Is there limit to love?
This is what I would ask.

Oh..That place..Most of us are afraid to go there and yet it is (w)here we belong.
Great write
