Broken ice ushers water around Muffling the world, can’t hear a sound A scream looks like bubbles from pre-school The lake was to thin, I was a fool.
It freezes over my only way out No matter how I pound and shout It just won’t break, I’m trapped underground In this icy grave, I’m lost not found
Drowning, oh so bitter sweet Darkness dragging me by the feet And as I sink my eyes crust with snow All the way down, what a way to go.
The silt begins to cover my face in the game of life , I’ve lost the race a light shines ahead and I leave this plane when springtime comes, you’ll find me then.
