The things I wish I could say

Seeing your face once was enough to take my breath I could write a book on all the things I wish I could say but I’ll have to settle for the way you smiled when you saw the look on my face you can only imagine how my heart started to race when you started to walk my way and how fast it broke when you walked on by I let my mind wander to a place where you decided to stay you and me in each other’s arms letting love guide the way and if you ever cried I’d be there to wipe your tears away I would tell you I’m yours to take and I’d fight away any fears that kept you awake I would be so happy when I see your stomach start to change shape a brand new life proof of the love we made and when the years pass by and your beauty fades away my love for you will never have aged a day I‘d love you the same until the lord takes you away and then the dream fades I’m awake this is the first page in the book of things I wish I could say.

Though times have changed; a woman cannot always be the persuer, the old saying "a man won't turn a gift horse in the mouth" is very timeless. A man won't turn away free love but a woman will usually be honestly choosey. It is a decent woman that will wait for the man to make his heart known. Don't be shy, she can only say no. Something we've all heard many a time: what is one more for the chance that it might be a yes?
