Maybe I should consult my stars, See what they tell from out of time. It may be water, which in fact In flowing motion tells so much, It may be anything we learn From watching stars or water’s turn.
Maybe I should consult my heart, It’ll tell me stories of my past. Heart’s strings ring wise, don’t tire to ask, It’s yours, the one you ever trust, As long as you're alive it lasts.
But when your time on earth is past And heart no longer beats as fast, And tired of waste it sounds alarm, Delusions go, you stare in glass, It dawns on you you are alone at last.
Certainly a great poem Marikia.....sad in places, but well written to the max...loved it, Niah
