The sun has gone down Its almost dark now What a day it was Out in the world To climb out of my hole Squeaking out a existence Finding a few seeds Maybe a couple old nuts Little chipmunk that I am In a big dangerous world To breath some fresh air Then in quiet reflection Off my shiny dark eyes Pinpricks of lights I watch the stars come out One by one near and far The brightest of them all Then see the moon rise Feel my thin fur stiffing As I spy all those large Glowing yellow eyes Far above me on a perch They sit and wait Eyes that make me shiver And my little chirp quiver Right before I climb back Into my safe little hole And close my eyes

Very nice analogy! Thank goodness it's spring and the days are getting longer. Enjoy the adventure and fresh air of each new day!
