Emptiness

I cant begin to image the darkness that you felt,
And if I could have changed the deck,
I would have changed the card that you'd been dealt.
I stand here now in this stony place,
Carved letters Tar, the memory of your face.

And I know
you felt you weren't strong enough,
to say goodbye
and you weren't brave enough,
to tell us why,
So you went away
and left us with
You emptiness.

Now as the sun sets and darkness takes its place,
I wish that I'd of seen you hand, and looked beyond your face.
And you stand there now in your better place,
Tears traced along the letters on your grave.

And I know
you felt you weren't strong enough,
to say goodbye
and you weren't brave enough,
to tell us why,
So you went away
and left us with
You emptiness.

Your emptiness is killing me with memories,

Your emptiness its hard to breath, hard to believe,

In your emptiness

Hi, JustLittleMe,
emptiness looms as your poem captures the anguish of those left behind by one who was not able to adequately cope with card that you'd been deal. Such a tragedy for all.
