Spring's Sundown

In Springtime's bloom
my bones, supple Willows;
danced in simple purity...
through salt-marsh dunes
waving Goldenrod wands.

Time was a friend
stretching out forever~
to brighter tomorrows
of mystery, and
everlasting love.

I believed in miracles
wishes coming true,
but falling stars
painted my destiny.

Now, sundown's glory
fades to gloaming dusk,
while embracing;
all I am,
or ever was...

Time hushes its ticking,
and curls
at my feet,
contented.
