Bewitching Smile

Forgive me, woman!
I plead to thee;
Hence not in lewdness
I stare at thee.
For thine beauty has
Arrested my attesnion
Likith no other, for which
I have no understanding;
Why hast thou bewildered me?

Forgive me, woman!
As I shout the
Praises of thy beauty!
My goal is not to embarrass thee
But make known, to
All that will listen
How thoust Bewitched me
By just a simple smile!

Forgive me,woman!
For my stare shall
Not linger much longer,
For thou hast tolerated
My presence more than
Thoust should have;
For this I give
Thanks to thee!

Hi cambuff

Written in almost the style of Chaucer... An enjoyable read.

Hi, cambuff,
It is good to give thanks for beauty that draws ones attention - nay, arrests it! But, ask not for forgiveness but rather a coffee/tea date! Without such boldness, how else to secure your fate? Welcome back to Poet's Corner!
