Panic!

Panic!

I panic that you may not be there!

I look in vain, but you are where?

Behind that tree or in that flowered field?

My lost love, my heart is ticking loudly in it’s loneliness!

I fear you have gone from me my dear!

My heart beats fast, can it be,
That maybe you are out there searching, just for me!

I dread the thought of losing you,
Oh! Do you ever think so too?

Behind that happy cloud way up in the sky,
I search for you … it is I

I search for your happy face, your loving kisses and fond embrace!

When I find you, I will hold you close,
Because of this feeling, of wanting you the very most!

End my panic of lonesome days and hold me close my dear,
And say you love me, as I love you, for it’s what I want to hear!

I no longer Panic, I have found you!

I am glad you no longer panic and the search is over and you have found her. Your 'searching burning desire' did pay off, its heat thawed her heart and your voice sounded loud enough to catch up with her, so I am happy for you, dear poet! Best wishes! teddybear bouquet
