A Single Golden Ray

Why am I always so afraid
To say what I have to say?
Will my words be too strong
When feelings get in the way?
Will you just write me off
Another lover gone astray?
Was all the love we shared
just another roll in the hay?
The sun doesn't always shine
In a world so full of gray
You know I feel much more
Than just another passing day
But adrift we have departed
And we're finally gone astray
And I miss you more than ever
My heart feels full of decay
Please know it wants to flower
Into a big bright bouquet
For only you and always you
Will the sun shine again
A single golden ray

i'm with you man, i have learnt to voice my feelings and to hell with consequences, this way, i will at least have no regrets about what could have been...

Ring her, or write if that's possible... even send her poem... you have nothing to lose, she may be feeling exactly the same!
