To thee I pay homage; Tis not for thine beauty Of the the flesh; Though no mortal that I knowest hast the charms, Or the grace to disturb My reverie, when I see Thee in my mind.
To thee I pay homage; Tis not for the sound Of thine voice. Though no music Written by man, Gives me peace, As what your voice does to me.
To thee I pay homage. To a woman, Nothing more, nothing less; A woman, of flesh and blood. Not a Goddess Or one of nobilty. Just a woman, Giving of herself To an undeserving Man. Who awakens his being As if life itself Never exsisted before She entered his life.
To thee, woman. I pay homage, And say to thee, Thank thee for blessing A life, as only You can do.
