I have neither The energy nor The passion To desire you A moment longer.
You drained me As the sun drains Life out of a pasture. Turning life giving soil Into life destroying dust.
I now ask myself One question; Why? Not wanting for answers of You leaving me, But wanting answers TO; why I trusted you.
I gave all You lost nothing. For this I should Have not given anything To you, especially my soul.
It pains me To write these lines, For loving you And liking you Gave me spark To rekindle passion's flame, That was lost for eon's.
I loved you! I liked you! With one phone call You murdered me, Rendering any wishes Of loving again, as dry A pasture totured by An unrelenting sun.

About this poem:
If this sounded cofusing, I'm sorry, I had to be selfish as I wrote this. I'm not sure why I posted it. The only thing I can say to that is; IT FElT RIGHT TO POST IT! So I ask please don't lynch me for wasting your time. Cambuff
I agree.. if it feels right to share your feelings then you must.. it helps to share.. to begin to heal.. hopefully healing will happen quickly my friend.
Hi, cambuff, The experience of something that Gave me spark To rekindle passion's flame, That was lost for eon's is a gift to be treasured, in spite of the great pain of its loss under An unrelenting sun. Fortunately, love does not ask permission to come but rather arrives, perhaps even when uninvited. Wishing healing for the soul that surely remains and asks, WHY?

Bro., You're just telling it like it is. I like this poem because it's real, it's the truth and you have no need to apologize for it. Very nice...my kinda stuff.
