My God, why's it so As one year has passed by Nothing new Lot's of old, my reason is why!
What do they think Why do they, impose Brass in full clang From the pew's they arose.
As the man pulls the rope Over treetop, sound goe's The call to the people A gathering of soul.
Yet my grass has been tread With like minded folk Who take my concern In their stride battered, joke.
May I please have your address So upon I may park A lot full of cars They leave lines in full mark.
My God for a year I've asked with a smile Yellow tape, is up Short in feet, not a mile.
I'm not real sure Why you never complied Your Priest asked you twice While I only advised.
Perhaps you feel just In your thought you display Immunity in life
~Hmmmm, is that a learned way!?~

About this poem:
Sharing a situation that I have been dealing with for over a year on my property, I have had to put up yellow tape barricades across the front of my property to stop the church congregation from parking on my property. Now they are understanding where I,m coming from after asking in person, leaving notes and the Priest asking not to park on my front lawn, what finally got their attention was the yellow tape.
Lol Red, that would be an idea eh lol, I actually met with one of the advisors today, seems they are wanting to swap my half acre for a full acre down the road. I have not started building yet, so it just may be the blessing in disguise lol, ty for commenting

bells, discordant never in unison why? wondering...
The opposite is true for the church too. We have a very beautiful black top parking lot at our church next to the community park with a dirt road and green lawn to park their cars on. Guess where they park? On the church parking lot. However, we feel that they are also God's children and the lot belongs just as much to them as us - so therefore the more the merrier.
Maybe if you put in parking meters? Might help with your property tax.
Hi Soph, yes it was directly across from the church, I had 2 driveway entrances and a manicured so to speak lawn of approx 168 feet that was my property, that I kept the grass nice on.

Sometimes the most expected sense, is nonsense,
Sometimes the most expected sense, is nonsense,
It must be easy access to thier church?
Maybe if you put in parking meters? Might help with your property tax.
