I’ve forgotten what it is to love and be loved.
I had given up on the hope of finding bliss
Sealing the deal with one simple kiss!
I seemed to have learned that love was harder than this.
So now I choose to avoid what I can of love.
Some may say I’m a coward,
Other’s deem me wise
But you know nothing of love
If you don’t know of love’s lies!
