fries
Farewell to the girl
with sand in her toes
To beachballs and cokes
and sunburn nose
Farewell Cafe to your
neon lights flashing
electric colors on
boardwalk nights
Farewell Cafe to your
menu of love for mine
was taken..to angels
above~

My dear Cafe, indeed this is a lovely poem. Loved it. But I don't like the word Farewell....how about Paradise Cafe. Farewell is a sad word and it has a certain finality. It could be
Paradise to the girl
with sand in her toes.

But loved it anyway...just an idea my dear.

Ty Marikia..' My meaning at the end of the poem I'm guessing no one seems to have caught. I thought it seemed obvious..My girlfriend died and was taken to heaven by angels..That was the twist..
