~feel like a scream looking for a mouth~

Day breaks as you think
you don't feel like yourself
mirror is rippled, yet
on the floor sits a shelf.

In pantomime your day
walks by as you sit
minutes ago....what did you do
clarity is fogged....remembering whats new!

Monday is Tuesday, the 5th is the fourth
lunch in the mourning....breakfast at night
8 days a week....no news to report
perhaps getting near....time to abort!

The air in the room is cellophane thick
alarm just went off as your hand reaches quick
to turn on the start to the end of that day
your're feet hit the floor an your're feeling ok.

....looking for a mouth to help find that scream....

You had to work a Midnight shift for a while
and that really messes up your inside timeclock
as well as meals, what day it is...and on and
on. Done it and it becomes a fog.
