A Fallen Leaf

I am a leaf blowing in the wind
Just being tossed around
Where I fall is undefined
Somewhere on the ground
Take a journey out of mind
No reason to bog it down
No longer to a tree confined
A flight of freedom unbound
Nurtured green now a refined
Gold turning soon to brown
I am free of life's daily grind
Floating smile without a sound
I tumble away flying blind
In apex of my glory crowned

I do not know what physical death means. Want know till I die and then I don't think I will be able to tell youlaugh Now lets get back to that d@mn leaf. mumbling mumbling mumbling You might think where it falls is undefined but come by my house at the end of winter and I can promise you if it is not in my yard all of its relatives are. I live in a town where you have to have a permit to cut a oak tree down and oaks are beautifull in the summer or spring. I have many in my yard. But come the end of winter I am knee deep in leaves. The leaf might be free but it sure ....... moping

Ok got that out of my system. Nice poem. Loved it. Could actually feel the leafs journey thumbs up

Right to my yard uncertain
