Eternity
An owl hoots
A coyote howls
In the barren swamp
An animal growls
In the sky the stars glint
Near the black horizon the moon tints
Overhead a meteor blazes
Spews colour as it sinks to earth in stages
Others follow and then none
The meteorites and earth as one
