The Perfect Flower

Seldom is found a perfect flower
Growing in a least expected place
Where only nature can nourish her
Happy with what light makes available
Illuminated from her darkest past
Cast in the light of her true love
Which is what she needs and waits for
Oh how the future now looks bright
Once free from the shadows of her past

There's more in between the lines. there's a lot to figure out. There is no such thing as a perfect person but with all the things we need to nurture a blossom (a relationship) is the metaphor,,,,long shadows versus being real....

A beautiful poem to be sure.. a wildflower it seems to be.. thanks hug teddybear

She is like a wildflower...but with so much competetion often the lovliest thoughts of her like rare flowers get crowded out by the stronger more common varieties....

I like these lines:

Oh how the future now looks bright
Once free from the shadows of her past

They say a lot about the poem's symbolism. Thrown into the darkness of our mind because of some unpleasant experiences, we live like a forlorn flower in some out of the way part of nature, until we get rid of this burden.

I think we are all like flowers of this world...and a perfect flower should bloom with the elements of nature. Indeed, a beautiful write!!bouquet teddybear heart beating
