My World, Your World, Lost world

Lie in a meadow
Swim in the sea
Walk a path where none would be
Look around, take time to see
In natures orchard there is plenty for thee

Watch a rive sweep into the sea
Even the mighty Amazon will no longer be
As she mates with the deep blue sea
Nature has a way of letting you see
What a bountiful treasure was bequeath to thee

Yet how indifferent we have choose to be
Curled up warm, on a soft settee
Watching Attenborough on TV
Marvelling at a world, that may no longer be

It brings a tear to one’s eye
With deafly indifference so few cry

Unbind your eyes, it’s time to see
Take a breath while it’s free
And hope someday it’s not a luxurie

what a wonderful poem , that perfectly describes the wonders of our world , and the beauty of nature that surrounds us--if only we would just take time to admire and treasure it !
A lovely write--well done thumbs up Serenity
