Rocket Bike Dreams

Rocket Bike Dreams

At 1000 miles an hour down the road I fly
Adjust the forward pitch and up into the sky
I have this mad dream for a rocket powered bike
To blast through the air making adrenalin spike

The thrill of whooshing along way up there
As you see my rocket bike zip through the air
To take my girl with our wind whipped smiles
Off in a flash out to lunch flying 1000 miles

Blazing along stereo cranked as the rockets blast
Arriving at our lunch 10 minutes into the past
And when we arrived everyone there would stare
At our wind stretched grins and wind blown hair

However silly things like this may seem to you
Building my rocket bike is something I can do
But controls will be a problem to get done right
So my rocket bike flies straight all through the night

Right now I can just let my wild imagination roam
And dream my crazy dream of my rocket bike at home
So if you see two blazing trails way up in the sky
You just saw the glare of my rocket bike blasting by

About this poem:
Being a gear head and car crazy guy who loves fast cars I have this wild dream of a 1000 mph rocket bike. Well who knows what the future holds, and who says all your dreams must be small ones? For what is science fiction today becomes a reality tomorrow. Look at cell phone, laptops, space planes, space station, and now a man witha jet engine on his back that flys like a jet plane all of which were just science fiction a few years ago.

All kinds of amazing thngs are there in future, we have steet bikes over 200 mph runing on gas right now, and top speeds over 300 at the salt flats. So is 1000 mph that far fetched for a bike that can fly also?
