The Silhouette

The Silhouette

Hidden in the shadows of an alcove fighting the night's fears

A vision of great beauty in a silhouette she appears

Then suddenly came to life, she was exquisitely divine

My heart raced and my soul begged for her to be mine

Long lustrous flowing locks as she tied ribbons in her hair

Silently I beheld her womanly charms I desperately wanted to share

Struck dumb and still I wondered for the longest while

If in these shadows she could see my yearning smile

I wish I could paint that vision on the canvas of my rhyme

As she lives in my mind's gallery until the end of all time

Every guy to some point has had that gorgeous woman just pop up out of nowhere and leave staring at her and lost to all else.
