Dominic

you've got a way about you...
when you smile, your teeth bare, without a care
I sure do enjoy, the feel of it
new kid in our home, for us to share

how hard it's been, just getting through
for my dear wife and especially for you

your mom died last fall
my wife's first child left at thirty two
and you, only age fourteen
had the ground collapse...fast below you

it's good to know
that you'll be safe
for now we know
who casts your fate...

it is we who get to hold you
nurture and feed you
..we'll lead you
there could be no one better
our love is without bound
as we're always standing
...on the ground
no shifting shuffling as we face each day
could never do it any other way

for as plain folk
we shall always offer
that which you need
to grow and prosper

you are precious to us
and forever shall be
a vital part
of our family

....we love you Dominic!

Hi, hedistuff,
...there could be no one better our love is without bound....we love you Dominic! No truer words can be spoken than those spoken through love...without bound and my heart is touched by these the poet shares. Though people can survive without love, to blossom love is surely required.
