I made mistakes all my life now all I do is drive open the window burns my eye but all I do is drive so many cars with bright lights cannot even see the road at night all hot and sticky in the summers heat too many blues not enough reason I'm old and grey feeling the pain ice on the window in a winters day listening to a radio with frozen fingers another year had just passed by just want my search to end so I can die in her arms tonight

About this poem:
not literally die just find her and collapse in her arms for the night.
well I was suppose to be in Texas but the police had other things on their agenda and prevented me from being there. so as of now I am in oklahoma, but soon will be finishing my drive to Texas since now I have till monday to get there thanks state trooper.
just hope you don't turn into a colorado what a disaster bout the only place where it is cooler is the northwest the last couple years the summers are colder then the winters well almost anyways..
all the wild fires colorado springs and fort collins well over 350 homes have been destroyed and who knows how many more over 32000 people had been evacuated from their homes it is utmost devastating fire going on right now been burning for couple of weeks now.

Kick it,
My dearest loving friend, you seem like you are spending too much time on the wheel and less time looking for her? Please take your time to be with her and if you have already found her let her know and deep in your heart show her that you love her so much. I have just found the man that made the biggest impression in my life when it comes to life, love, and all the whole package that come s with it and let me tell you there is not a sufficient word to describe how I feel. I love his so much and I am so thankful for having found this love.
Kick I know you will find her too, and if you do, please grab life by the horn.
Wish I could tell you this story, but I can't take care of you. glad you found your happiness, may it reign through the rest of your days. ..

Great poem kickit...NOT advice, but I have found that if you want something to come back then you have to let it go....a hard thing to do if you haven't got it in the first place....but stopping looking would be the same I think....It really works...honest...Get some sleep mate...Andrew...

well kickit hope everything works out well as their is almost nothing that cant be fixed or repaired with the right attitude and words and to find the one just go out enjoy your time she will show
yes it does come with the job of spending mile after mile behind the wheel. to be able to stop and lay down and die in her arms can only be described in this way to explain the relevence of being alone for this period of time.

Nice job kickit but hey, you lie! You're not old and grey
Seriously, a poignant write; it's quite universal in nature. Thanks for sharing
Hi, kickit22, Though quite poignant, I want to die has wonderfully captured intense feelings of longing.

"too many blues not enough reason"
I know what its like to drive for a living and the blues without reason all too well...it comes with the job.
As far as "die in her arms tonight", well, that type of death is something to look forward to.
