I am so deeply touched by the
poetry that was created poets who created them

Hi Kick,
We have all had such fun doing this...And yes, a feeling of unity too...Who would have believed those two little lines you thought about could have brought such a great response.
Thanks kickit with all the hassles travelling around yet you had time to write those two lines that stirred us up on PC and brought out all the feelings and created a spirit of bonhomie. You are an

My dearest Kickit, I might add: Indeed you got my brain on the overdrive. Like I said, it is so POERFUL AND POTENT it can lead to so many direction. I am still writing and I think I will dedicate a BOOK and I will title it: "KICKIT'S REVVING MOOD".
Anyways what is so rare is the exploding substance of the act of WALKING A THOUSAND STEPS ON A CROCKED FENCE. it depicgts some sort of commitment to do so, why? there goes the reasons. It is in this question I asked the first time I read it that got me into so many WILD, I mean really wild direction. then CROCKED FENCE. Why crocked? why not straingt? and why on a fence, why not on the trail or some sort of road?
Anyways, my dearest Kick, I have so far written 13 different pieces attributed to your TWO POWERFUL, FAMOUS LINES.
I think everybody can relate to a crooked fence, that is why this has been over whelmingly successful. it represents boarders, barriers, life's struggles of a unbalanced journey in one's life, it represents humbleness and success of reaching the end a crooked fence climbs mountains and crosses into and over creeks and ponds, and most important it represents a string of journy whhen one finishes the end it gives them something to look back on and reflect what it took them to finish the one thousandth step.
it is beyond words poet, beyond words that I can describe it will be forever in my memory of the most memorable time ever in my mind... thank you for your participation poet
Thank you!!! dear for your participation in this 2 line challenge but you know what is funny. I was looking back and I was trying to count how many times my 2 lines changed.. my original 2 lines were suppose to be as follows
A thousand steps walking along a crooked fence
but when i posted it, it came out
A thousand steps walking a crooked fence
but then when i done my take on it, I wrote in my version
A thousand steps along a crooked fence..
geess not sure what going on in my heart or mind..

and thank you for being and making this what it was. it is just not one person, no it is not! it is everybody, who entered and conquered this challenge, with authority. it just show that even in tense times, we all can come together and unite as one, regardless of language, race, religion. peace can be had, that is what the world of poetry has to offer..

Hey Kickit, I really enjoyed the challenge and was floored to see all the comments and the stir of excitement. THANK YOU!!! for inciting this creative ourtburst. SO much fun. On my way home tomorrow. The challenge was nothing less than 'inspiring' - You got the inspiration started, but with each and every submission, the inspiration greW, grEW, gREW, and continued to GROW! It was like watching a well planted garden! You, Mike - tilled the fertile soil of the mind, the creative seeds of poets far and wide began to germinate, the result was a beautiful harvest of original creativity with color, texture, warmth, humor, imagination, and depth. In the end, we were all privileged to sit around the overflowing cornucopia partaking of the fruits that were so abundantly harvested and unselfishly shared. An awesome experience indeed!! Thanks Mike!!!
