A Flight Within

The Clouds
they would hold
A sweetness within the air

A sacred silence
A seep of flow

Creeping that road
a view
of only

A few

Birds stretched
tiny feet
that clung

to the branch they met

seeking only

for seasons
what they could get

There was a time of all was well

A silence came
No love
so fitting

A pour off rain
a hidden cloud

crested in the wave
I cried aloud

Moving mountains
an unspeakable journey

So silently
I wept

and took with all
my learning

A kind heart

I kept

For awhile I thought it was a doddle...is there a style in this, like haiku or sonnet ? Like it alot .

It is admirable that one can maintain A kind heart when one is left with a silent learning but No love. The poem's melancholy is transcended by self-awareness and hope.
