If Thou Dost Not Love Me

Gentle lady, i pray thee
If thou dost not love me, then slay me
For my life without thine love is as good as death
Tho not yet half as sweet
And I would much more happily die
Here and now, by thine hand
Than as a man made weak and frail by the passing time

Yes, to love and be loved are integral to life itself.

May you receive what your heart and soul so clearly long for.

Ty for sharing your write.
