Kathy Lee Gifford

I saw her on tv
I heard her sing on her album
I heard that she had clothing made
By little girls working for three cents an hour
She met with one of them
She told this girl she did not know
That children were making clothes
With her name on it
Did Cathy Lee lie to this girl?
Did Cathy Lee ever offer to reimburse the money
She stole from these children?
The whole story had my head ringing
Which was worse
Her child explotation
Or her singing

About this poem:
Saw a documentary called The Corporation. The story is dated, the movie came out around 2005. It had clips from one of my heros, Michael Moore's TV Nation. He went to Phillip Morris and had people who had lost their voiceboxes to cancer from smoking cigarettes sing christmas carols.

Yes, that is a dated story. Kathy is too busy with her TV show right now to worry about the clothes business. peace

Mc. I agree for sure, so far from what I have seen with people of money, if they are trying to make more there's a good chance they don't research beginning to end of procurement. Good for you to write this. cheers
