My Boots

Please don't confuse my laughter with insanity,
Please don't confuse my pity with jealousy,
As I know what he does where your not there
Because once upon a time.............

I was you.

So you can have my discarded Cinderella shoes
As I've my little Red Riding boots
And you can have my broken and shattered dreams
Id much rather Reality.

Hi, JustLittleMe,
Yes, sometimes it is hazardous to walk in another's footsteps. Id much rather Reality. I agree, especially when it's a happier one. Thank you for sharing.
Well said! Sometimes the "boots" that take you away will take you to a better place. Thanks for sharing. dancing
