Dear Lonely Men,

When life seems hard and you miss company
Know out there somewhere is a girl like me
Not the best looking
Not the richest
But someone worthy

Beautiful in the sense of dedication and loyalty
Natural and organic is the women inside of me
Make up, hair spray and lashes to cage my insecurities
But don’t ever think the fake on the outside is also inside of me

Maybe I don’t know how to say no and mean it
Make a future plan and stick to it
But I believe out there are good women for all the good men
Some single and some with men who are simply evil and do not deserve them

I believe that we'll all get hurt but our soul mate will come.

Maybe the good men and good women just give up on looking and settle for anything but time has a way of sifting out the bad traits in someone.I believe if one gives friendship a long time to flourish then it would enable them to make a wise decision before they enter into a serious relationship.I'm quite bored also

awh heya fellas :3 so sorry it took so long for me to reply i forgot about this poem, i'm happy ya liked it. Well being lonely is hard i am someone who needs someone as i find it hard to smile knowing i'm alone. i hope you are all finding love in this big wide world or all still looking and hoping.

Wow Lori, a very deep and very true account you just wrote there. You touched my heart. Yes we do get hurt, more often than not but we grow and learn and I personally believe that it builds us to where we can achieve a good learning and that is the point in life. I wish it isn't so but based on all the readings that come accross here, on books, (sylvia plath) on movies, etc, etc, we see so much hurt, damage, pain, and bitter dissappointments we all go through

in life. So life is a contineous learning. To me, now Lori, at my age, 62 this coming august 11th, I gave up on love. I mean I know my mother told me that I will know when it comes and feel. Not that I was not lovedat all, on the contrary, my ex of 28 years loved me so much. But for whatever reason, I had to move on. I was just going to enjoy life by myself or something like that.

Then I joined here, and I FOUND MY SOULMATE LORI. ISN'T THAT GREAT? AND TO THINK THAT MY BEST FRIEND FROM GENEV ALMOST FORCED ME TO BE A MEMEBEER HERE. I DIDN'T LIKE IT BECAUSE IT IS A DATING SITE. AND SHE KNEW AND I KNEW I WASN'T LOOKING BUT SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THE POETRY ONLY. AND GUESS WHAT I FOUND LOVE TO FIND HIM THAT I LOVE LORI AND WE ARE SO DEEPLY IN LOVE.

SO I KNOW YOU WILL FIND HIM. YOU ARE SO YOUNG AND IT WILL COME. PROMISE. I FEEL IT. JUST BE PARIENT.

LOVE YOU ALREADY.
