Hi There CloudySky...thanks for this upbeat poem...I enjoyed it and yes...its nice to read something that makes you smile at the end. Yet I can relate to what you've mentioned about writing poems with a tinge of pain and sadness because I tend to write more of it too even though I am not in that kind of emotional state. I think when you are much older, you realise how precious time is and you know the longer you wallow in sadness over being heartbroken the more precious time wasted. I think I am finally at a stage where my own life take centre-stage but my poems will always dig deep to past experiences interspersed with the current and the future that are either colourful or funny.
