THE DAY AFTER

THE DAY AFTER THE SMILING FACE TO FACE. THE DAY AFTER THE WARM EMBRACE.
THE DAY AFTER THE KISS.
THE DAY AFTER THE GENTLE TOUCH ON HER SKIN.
THE DAY AFTER THE WHISPERS IN HER EAR.
THE DAY AFTER YOU CLAIM YOUR HEART IS HER'S.
THE DAY AFTER YOU LOOK HER IN THE EYE, TELL HER YOUR LOVE FOR HER YOU CANT DENY.
THE DAY AFTER SHE GAVE YOU HER HEART.
THE DAY AFTER SHE GAVE YOU WHAT IS DEAREST TO LOVE IN PART.
THE DAY AFTER YOU PROMISE YOU WILL CALL.
THE DAY AFTER SHE STRUGGLE TO MAKE SENSE OF IT ALL.
THE DAY AFTER A SHATTERED HEART.
THE DAY TO COME IS FOR HER TO MOVE ON.

Hi, SUMMIT09,
There are people who know how to love and there are those who only know how to take. Love works best when it involves two who know how to love. THE DAY TO COME IS FOR HER TO MOVE ON. The loving one has to move forward until a soulmate is found. Thanks for sharing this poignant write.

Comes with a strong punch because it is loaded with so much truth. I guess that's the problem with love...Real love is loving / accepting the unloveable. But as others say; "better to have loved than not at all"..handshake
