Alcohol

Once you’ve told me
It’s the two of us
It was never true
We were always three
You, me and the alcohol.

Once we had the dream of a little family
It came never through
As something was stronger
Stronger then you an me.

The obsession for the alcohol.

Once more
I’ve tried to stick to you
Stand by your side
And got pushed away

From the alcohol

The love I felt and feel for you
It was always strong and real and true.

The love was strong
But still to weak
To win
Against your obsession
Of the alcohol

I’ve tried
As much as I could
It was too less
And I should have known

We found
We had
We lost

But why?

Because it is not possible
To win
Against the alcohol.
